There are pros and cons in having thick skin. The downside is trying to get definition and this requires structure to the tip area to effectively rent the skin to create a more defined appearance.

The tip has to be projected significantly above the bridge to get a nice contour in the longer term.

Experience in dealing with thicker skin noses is critical in achieving the best results.
