Consultation

You’ll meet with Mr Paun at either our Harley Street or Shard location to discuss your concerns, goals, and medical history. Procedure

Turkey neck surgery is usually performed under general anaesthetic and takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Incisions are placed discreetly behind the ears and sometimes under the chin. The procedure typically involves tightening of the platysma muscle (platysmaplasty), removal or repositioning of fat to reduce fullness, trimming and redraping of loose skin on the neck, and fine suturing to minimise visible scarring. In some cases, liposuction or chin implant surgery may be included to enhance the overall profile.

Recovery

Most patients return home the same day or stay overnight. Dressings are removed after 24–48 hours. Bruising and swelling are most noticeable during the first one to two weeks, with steady improvement over time.
