Having made a decision to have a procedure performed, we will send out detailed preoperative information about the surgery itself, any quotes for the procedure including additional cosmetic procedure fees if the patient may be insured for functional problems. These will include details of the hospital, our anaesthetist, what general precautions to take and what to do on the day of operation.
Postoperatively, further step by step specific information about what to do in the days after surgery are sent and it is important our patients follow this carefully to optimise healing and minimise the risks of any potential complications. All patients are given advice on how to contact us in case of any questions including a telephone helpline.
Our patients are given an individual password for access to our patient portal where there is wealth of operation specific information available.
